About the Conference

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, N. M. A. M. Institute of Technology, Nitte, India is organizing a Two Day International Conference on ''VLSI, Signal Processing, Power Electronics, IoT, Communication and Embedded Systems'' (VSPICE-2020) as a part of Multi-Conference on International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering (ICETE-2020) on 22-23 Dec 2020.

The conference is dedicated to driving innovation in nearly every aspect of Electronics & Communication Engineering. The conference provides platform for researchers, professionals, executives and practicing engineers from various industries, research institutes and educational bodies to share and exchange their ideas on the theme of the conference. A series of keynote presentations, technical paper and poster presentations are planned to discuss new issues, tackle complex problems and find advanced enabling solutions which are able to shape new trends and enable the development of mankind as a whole.

All accepted and presented papers of VSPICE-2020 will be submitted to Scopus indexed journal for further processing for possible publication.

Theme of the Conference

Advances in VLSI, Signal Processing, Power Electronics, IoT, Communication and Embedded Systems pave a pathway for the development of efficient and economic systems. For making the best use of resources, expertise in multiple specializations and interdisciplinary research is gaining prominence. Hence, the objective of the conference is to provide a platform for people who are working in Electronics and Communications and allied disciplines to share their expertise and contribute to technical innovations.

Karkala is a town and the headquarters of Karkala taluk in the Udupi district of Karnataka, India. Located about 60 km from Mangalore, it lies near the Western Ghats. The town was called Pandya Nagari during the period of Jain rule, and later became known as Karikallu, then Karkal and then finally to Karkala. Karkala has a number of natural and historical landmarks. It is located at the bottom of Western Ghats covered with greenery year-round. It is a major junction for religious tourists due to its strategic location along the way to Sringeri, Kalasa, Horanadu, Udupi, Kollur and Dharmasthala.

Udupi is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the administrative headquarters of Udupi District. Udupi is one of the top tourist attractions in Karnataka. It is notable for the Krishna Temple lends its name to the popular Udupi cuisine. It is also known as Lord Parashurama Kshetra, and is famous for Kanakana Kindi. A centre of pilgrimage, Udupi is known as Rajata Peetha and Shivalli (Shivabelle). It is also known as the temple city. Manipal is a locality within Udupi city. Udupi is situated about 60 km north of the industrial hub Mangalore and about 422 km northwest of state capital Bengaluru by road.

Mangalore is the largest city and administrative headquarters of the Dakshina Kannada district, and is one of the most multicultural non-metro cities of India. It is also the largest city in the Coastal and Malnad regions of Karnataka, besides being a commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare hub on the West Coast of India. This port city has the second largest airport in Karnataka. Mangalore city urban agglomeration extends from Ullal in the south to Surathkal in the north, covering a distance of over 30 km (19 mi).
